About the role
The People and Culture (P&C) Business Partner is responsible for partnering with senior leaders to support the development and deliver of Lifeblood’s “Workforce of Champions” strategy. The role partners closely with leadership teams and P&C Centres of Excellence to deliver human-centred employee experiences and people solutions that align with and enable the delivery of business priorities.
As a trusted advisor, you will provide both strategic and operational support, with the ability to identify opportunities, connect the dots, and translate people insights into meaningful business outcomes. You will bring experience in Employee Relations and case management, confidently navigating complex people matters while providing practical, commercially focused coaching and guidance to leaders.
Operating within a busy, fast-paced environment, you will support the broader team to manage competing priorities, deliver P&C frameworks and processes at scale, and contribute to culture, operating model, and strategic change initiatives. With a strong coaching mindset, you will focus on building leadership capability and effectiveness while partnering across the wider P&C function to deliver impactful people outcomes.

- Strong P&C business partnering skills with a demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders across varied client groups with a preference for experience with operational and geographically dispersed teams
- Experience in designing P&C solutions aligned to commercial and strategic imperatives
- Strong communication and relationship building skills with an ability to challenge and influence across different levels of leadership
- Strong team orientation with the ability to work collaboratively across the P&C function and the organisation as a whole
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or associated disciplines
This full-time fixed-term opportunity is available as parental leave cover until August 2027 and is flexible on location with the opportunity to work in a hybrid working environment. Lifeblood is proud to accommodate flexible working, and we are open to conversations around what this means to you.
