About the role  

The Training Lead NCC is responsible for developing the capability of our people so they can deliver an exceptional end‑to‑end donor experience. Working closely with the National Contact Centre, this role shapes a high‑performance learning culture by defining and delivering effective training methodologies that support Lifeblood’s Contact Centre teams. Through strong partnership with operational and support teams, the Training Lead ensures training frameworks, onboarding and continuous learning programs are current, compliant and enable the NCC to adapt to change and evolving service needs.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive capability development across the NCC by designing and delivering targeted training, leadership development and continuous learning initiatives that enable an exceptional end‑to‑end donor experience.
  • Define and implement a robust training framework that supports Lifeblood’s strategic objectives, improves operational effectiveness, and sustains high performance across frontline and leadership teams.
  • Lead onboarding, induction and refresher training programs, ensuring workforce readiness through well‑maintained, effective and consistent training content and methodologies.
  • Partner with NCC operational and support teams to ensure all training materials are accurate, compliant, up to date with systems and procedures, and responsive to change, innovation and evolving service needs

 

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Experience and involvement with preferably in designing and delivering training programs within a contact centre or customer service environment
  • Experience in developing and maintaining onboarding, induction, and refresher training frameworks
  • Ability to create engaging training materials that support compliance, system changes, and process improvements
  • Confidence in facilitating workshops and training sessions aimed at enabling employees to develop skills, capability and knowledge required to be effective in their roles and to support projects, innovation, and change initiatives 
  • A quick learner with a proven ability to adapt to and embrace new ways of working and to influence others to adopt a growth mindset and desire to improve and learn new skills.

Please note: this role will require full time office attendance for 2 week training inductions (approx. every 3 months).
