About the role
As a Health and Injury Support Specialist you'll play a key role in helping our people thrive by preventing workplace harm and supporting recovery at work. You’ll provide expert advice on injury prevention and injury management, partnering with stakeholders to deliver early intervention, effective case management, and positive recovery outcomes. Through your proactive approach, you'll help reduce injury-related risks and costs while contributing to improved organisational performance and employee wellbeing.
Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Rehabilitation/Health related degree (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychologist, Exercise Physiology, Nursing or other related health science field) essential
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in similar role
- Current Drivers Licence
- Experience and expertise of the relevant legislation for the management of workplace injury claims, including return to work planning and the implementation of adjustments which promote recovery at work
- Experience working in a large multi-site workforce
- Experience working across various state based workers’ compensation schemes
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach
