About the role

 

As an Area Manager, you’ll be part of a lean, high‑performing leadership team focused on delivering our strategic objectives. You’re an inspiring leader who communicates our vision with clarity and positivity, building energy and optimism across your teams.

 

You’ll be responsible for leading a portfolio of Donor Centres, ensuring each delivers a safe, efficient and welcoming donor experience. Working in a highly regulated environment, you’ll balance operational performance, quality and compliance while keeping the donor at the centre of everything you do.

 

Partnering closely with your Donor Centre Managers, you’ll translate strategy into action, align teams to key priorities, and drive continuous improvement. As we evolve our donor experiences and technology, you’ll confidently lead your area through change, coaching leaders and supporting them to succeed. You’ll be accountable for collection targets, budgets and performance outcomes, using financial and operational insights to identify opportunities and improve results.

 

Through strong leadership, coaching and sound judgement, you’ll lift performance and make a meaningful impact every day.

  • Proven leader with deep understanding of geographically dispersed operations, with experience delivering results through others in a regulated, customer‑focused environment
  • Strong people leadership capability, building high‑performing teams through coaching, trust, accountability.
  • Ability to translate strategy into clear operational priorities and deliver consistent execution across multiple sites
  • Commercial and financial acumen, including managing budgets, targets and key performance metrics to drive results
  • A clear commitment to quality, safety, compliance and continuous improvement
  • Confident change leader, comfortable guiding leaders and teams through operational, technological and cultural change
  • Data‑driven decision maker, using insights to identify risks, opportunities and performance improvements
  • Authentic communicator and influencer, who builds trust and engagement at all levels
