About the role
An exciting opportunity is available to join a dedicated team that specialises in recruiting eligible breastfeeding mothers to donate their surplus breastmilk, helping to nourish premature babies across Australia.
The Milk Donor Coordinator is responsible for cultivating strong relationships with breastmilk donors to ensure the timely, efficient, and cost-effective collection of breastmilk to meet patient needs. This Registered Nurse (RN) role provides clinical leadership and expertise regarding milk donation, ensuring donors receive appropriate care while maintaining the highest standards of product safety.
You will be a Registered Nurse with a thorough understanding of supporting breastfeeding women. A current driver’s licence is essential, as the role involves visiting breastmilk donors in their homes or in hospital settings.

- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and Annual License Certificate (with no restrictions)
- Demonstrated lactation expertise
- Phlebotomy skills – experience with blood collection
- Current, unrestricted driver’s licence
- Ability to conduct clinical assessments and apply clinical knowledge in practice
- Proven ability to provide exceptional service
- Strong ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of breastmilk supply and demand issues
Desirable experience:
- Knowledge or experience working with neonatal populations
- Experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) or food regulatory environment
- Flexibility to provide support to the Milk Collection Manager role when required
This is a permanent part-time opportunity based at our Sydney Processing Centre, working days being Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday between 8:00 AM to 4:00PM however some flexibility may be required with start & end time.
