About the role

As the Mobile Fleet Facilities and Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead the strategy and performance of Lifeblood’s national mobile fleet ensuring our donor operations run safely, reliably and efficiently across the country.

 

In this role, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of our mobile assets, from long-term planning through to day-to-day maintenance performance. You’ll develop and deliver preventative maintenance strategies, optimise asset utilisation, and use data to guide decisions around performance, cost and replacement.

 

Working closely with a small national team and key stakeholders across Facilities, Operations, Quality and Finance, you’ll ensure all mobile units meet compliance standards and are maintained to support uninterrupted donor services. You’ll also play a key role in managing national service providers, driving consistency in processes, and improving how we maintain and operate the fleet at scale.

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in fleet, facilities or asset management (ideally with heavy or specialised vehicles)  
  • Strong background in contract and vendor management in a national or complex environment  
  • Proven ability to manage maintenance programs and operational performance
  • Experience with budget planning and cost optimisation
  • A collaborative leader who can influence stakeholders and drive outcomes across teams
  • Ability to navigate compliance, risk, and safety in a regulated or critical services environment
