About the role  

 

We're currently seeking Order Fulfilment Officers (Pick Packers and Distribution Officers) to join our team at our Sydney Processing Centre. As an Order Fulfilment Officer, you'll support the timely distribution of life-giving products to Approved Health Providers throughout New South Wales.

 

A day in the Order Fulfiment Officer role will see you: 

 

  • Pick and pack life-giving blood and products for our Approved Health Providers
  • Work alongside our Customer Service team and our transport partners to ensure timely distribution
  • Manage and replenish inventory (blood and blood products) in temperature-controlled laboratory environments
  • Undertake scheduled cleaning & maintenance of equipment, freezers etc.
  • Record and manage relevant data and documentation about blood products accurately
  • Adhere to cold-chain compliance standards in a laboratory setting 
  • Maintain a strong commitment to quality systems and quality control measures

 

 

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for: 

 

  • Experience in fast-paced environments beneficial, including manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, pharmaceutical, retail and fast-food industries
  • Ability to frequently lift boxes that weigh between 5 – 10kgs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and reach to pack blood and blood products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Technical and digital aptitude, and proficient in the use of computers
  • Be flexible to work varied shifts on a 24/7 rotating roster
