About the role
Lifeblood's Strategic Transformation & Readiness team is strengthening its capability across strategy, transformation and delivery to help Lifeblood optimise today and build for tomorrow - exploring new opportunities and creating lasting value for Lifeblood and the communities we serve.
As our Core & Explore Practice Lead, you’ll play a critical role in embedding our dual mode transformation model across Lifeblood; turning a strategic concept into a practical, value-creating way of working. You’ll act as the connection point between business units, enterprise stakeholders and the Exploration team to develop new thinking and innovation. You’ll be helping teams adopt the new model and supporting them to clearly frame opportunities, source new opportunities for the exploration pipeline, and build the mindset, tools and routines needed to make innovation practical, operational and repeatable.
This is a role for someone who can translate ambiguity into practical tools our teams can use to optimise today and build for the future. The role needs to be able to tailor approaches based on maturity and need, work closely with senior stakeholders and translate big ideas into something our people can actually use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the rollout and embedding of the Core & Explore transformation model across Lifeblood
- Build shared understanding of the language, intent and value of Core & Explore
- Develop practical frameworks, tools, worksheets, resources and communications
- Partner with leaders and teams to build exploration capability and innovative thinking
- Facilitate workshops, problem-framing sessions and ideation activities
- Help business units shape innovation opportunities, uncovering the
- Support pipeline management, prioritisation, reporting and governance rhythms
- Prepare senior leader briefings, updates, insights and decision-making artefacts
- Integrate Core & Explore into key business processes, planning cycles and ways of working
- Identify opportunities to improve how exploration operates, connects and communicates value
Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Experience leading and delivering a strategic framework across a large and complex organisation; taking into account change practices, transformation, innovation or strategic practice uplift
- Strong ability to turn strategy into practical frameworks, tools, routines and communications
- Experience designing and scaling enterprise enablement resources, training materials or adoption tools
- Confidence facilitating workshops, problem framing and stakeholder engagement activities
- Background in innovation, exploration, strategy, service design, product, transformation or portfolio environments is desirable
- Experience with organisation-wide program governance, reporting, prioritisation or pipeline management
- Strong judgement, initiative and confidence working autonomously in complexity and ambiguity
