About the Role
Lifeblood is seeking a leader to join our new Warringah Mall Donor Centre, where you will support the opening of the centre and recruit your own team to shape and maintain a culture that ensures the best experience for every donor, every time. As a Donor Centre Manager, you will motivate your team, achieve collection targets and meet key performance indicators essential to securing Australia's blood supply. Your curiosity, adaptability, and commitment to fostering a positive team dynamic will be the driving force behind achieving common goals.
A day in this role would see you:
- Manage the quality and safety of blood donation and blood products
- Work alongside the team providing service excellence to our donors
- Coach and develop the team to drive continuous improvement across key service performance indicators (KPIs)
- Foster a safe environment where employees feel cared for, can communicate openly, share ideas and continue to learn
- Effectively roster employees to meet donor attendance, skill mix and operational requirements
- Be a great change leader ensuring you explain the “why” and support change for your team
- Engaging and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with Marketing and Regional Partnerships to optimise donor panels.

- Strong leadership experience in a large team, strong communication and experience building a leadership team
- Demonstrated experience managing a team in a customer focussed environment
- Strong people leadership skills, using human-centric and empathetic management approaches and can work towards change management
- Motivation to lead and inspire a team to reach shared goals and key performance indicators
- Ability to foster and build internal and external stakeholder relationships
- A passion for coaching people, developing skills within your team members and identifying talent
- Positive nature, with the ability to empathise with donors and team members
- Strong Excel knowledge, with the ability to dissect and interpret data to make informed decisions
- Highly committed to safety and quality
- A drivers licence and access to your own vehicle to support travel across multiple sites during the commissioning phase
- This role requires flexibility to work across Monday to Sunday.
