About the role

Our Bundoora Donor Centre is seeking a Centre Service Officer with a genuine passion to deliver an exceptional service to our donors. Working collaboratively in a team, a day in the centre could see you:

• Warmly greet and welcome our donors
• Provide donors with clear instructions as to the completion of paperwork
• Prepare food and beverages for donors and replenish the self-service buffet bar
• Monitor donors post-donation and assist them in rebooking for their next donation

Our flexible self-paced paid training program has a balance between on-the-job practice, and online class schedules to ensure that you are well supported. Besides having a real passion to deliver an amazing donor experience, you’ll need to have: 

• Strong Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere.

• Comfortable in a Front-Facing Role: Confident and approachable, with the ability to engage with donors and visitors to provide excellent service.

• Eager to Take on New Responsibilities: Motivated to contribute to managing the volunteer program and assist where needed to support the team.

• Willingness to Learn: Open to developing new skills, including clinical skills (training provided)

• Flexible Schedule: Available to work Monday to Sunday (AM, midday, and PM) to align with donor patterns and needs.

•  Ability to occasionally lift between 9-22.7kgs and perform tasks involving frequent sitting, bending, and reaching to restock supplies.
