About the role
We’re currently seeking a Session Leader to join our team at the Coffs Harbour Donor Centre. Reporting to the Donor Centre Manager, you’ll provide operational oversight to ensure that the end-to-end donation experience runs efficiently with no compromise on quality or safety.
As a Session Leader, you’ll provide direction, inspiration and support for your team to achieve common goals and foster team effectiveness, as well as managing tough issues with respect. You’ll value self-awareness and reflect on your own strengths and areas for development, making you an even stronger leader. A day in the centre could see you:
- Deliver a supportive and safe experience to our amazing donors
- Develop and coach teams
- Physically insert and remove needles to collect donations
- Act as the first point of contact for any complex donor assessments
- Provide clinical oversight to team to ensure phlebotomy success
- Show pride in upholding our high safety and quality standards

- Collaborative nature with a strong sense of teamwork
- Digital and technical aptitude
- Clinical experience highly advantageous
The position is a permanent full-time role, requiring availabilities to work in the mornings, afternoons/nights and some weekends on a rotational basis. The salary range is from $88,000.00pa - $105,927.00pa based on our Enterprise Agreement + super and other benefits.
