About the role

As a Building Services Systems Coordinator, your contribution to the operation of our TGA regulated GMP rated facility is the responsibility for the performance, compliance, and continuous improvement of critical building and environmental systems within our processing centre.

 

With the support and as part of the Building Services Team, working closely with the Building Services Manager in maintaining our critical operations, you’ll manage building management and control systems associated with building infrastructure such as refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical , as well as monitoring systems, ensuring they operate safely, efficiently and in line with strict regulatory standards. Additionally as part of our regulatory obligations, you will be responsible for our security systems such as access control and CCTV.

 

This is a hands-on, technical role suited to someone from an engineering, trades or automation background who enjoys problem-solving, optimising systems, and working in a highly regulated, quality-focused environment. You’ll also manage service contracts, support system upgrades and commissioning, and contribute to long-term asset planning.

  • Engineering qualification or trade background in electrical, mechanical, automation or systems disciplines
  • Experience working with building management, environmental monitoring or facility systems (BMS, EMS, Security or similar)
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills across complex systems and plant
  • Experience managing contractors or service providers and reviewing performance
  • Understanding of compliance-driven environments (e.g. manufacturing, healthcare, GMP) is highly regarded
  • Ability to analyse system data, identify trends and drive continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working across teams

 

This is a full-time 38-hour week role, typically Monday to Friday with flexible hours, plus participation in an on-call roster and occasional after-hours or weekend work for projects and maintenance.
