As we look to open our newest donor centre in the heart of the vibrant, diverse community hub that is Marrickville, we are on the lookout for a new crew who are passionate about saving lives in one of Sydney’s trendiest suburbs.

So, what do our incredible Donor Centre Managers do?


Reporting to the Area Manager, Our Donor Centre Managers provide operational oversight to ensure that the end-to-end donation experience runs efficiently with no compromise on quality or safety.


They provide direction, inspiration, and support for the team to achieve common goals and foster team effectiveness, as well as managing tough issues with respect.


They deliver a supportive and safe experience to our amazing employees and donors and act as the first point of contact for any operational challenges.


They provide leadership oversight to the team to ensure the teams are operating at their full capabilities in order to provide our recipients with the much needed blood products we collect daily

  • Leadership experience to coach, support and deliver performance feedback to foster employee engagement
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build a warm connection with donors
  • Collaborative nature with a strong sense of teamwork
  • Experience working to key performance indicators
  • Skilled in use of Microsoft Office and Lifeblood systems



So you are ready to get started on day one, you’ll complete a paid training program that has a balance between on-the-job practice, and online class schedules that will see you walking and talking like an expert within no time. All of our training will happen at our Chatswood and Parramatta Donor Centres prior to the Marrickville Donor Centre opening.



The important bits we need you to know


  • Occasionally you may need to lift between 9 -22.7kgs
  • You will frequently stand, walk and bend to set up and pack down machines and blood products
  • We need our crew to have availability and flexibility to work varied shifts across our 7 day a week operation within the initial donor centre hours below subject to review once the collections grow


- Mon & Tuesday 1130-2100

- Wed & Thursday 0630-2100

- Friday 0630-1500

- Sat & Sun 0700-1600
