About the role
Our Morley Donor Centre is seeking a Centre Service Officer with a genuine passion to deliver an exceptional service to our donors. Working collaboratively in a team, a day in the centre could see you:
- Warmly greet and welcome donors, ensuring a positive and professional donation experience
- Provide clear instructions and support to donors in completing required paperwork
- Prepare and replenish food and beverages, maintaining the donor refreshment area
- Monitor donors post-donation and assist with rebooking future appointments
- Demonstrate strong computer literacy, accurately managing donor information and navigating multiple systems
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service and attention to detail
- Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day centre operations
Our flexible self-paced paid training program has a balance between on-the-job practice, and online class schedules to ensure that you are well supported. Besides having a real passion to deliver an amazing donor experience, you’ll need to be able to provide:
- Demonstrated experience delivering excellent customer service
- Working knowledge of safe food handling procedures
- Previous experience in customer service or reception roles (desirable)
- Previous experience in retail or hospitality (desirable)
- Strong computer literacy and ability to manage multiple systems accurately
- Ability to occasionally lift items weighing 9–22.7 kg
- Frequent sitting, bending, and reaching to restock supplies in the kitchen
- Flexible to work a rotating roster, Monday to Sunday, including weekends and afternoon shifts
