About the role
Our Mt Waverley Donor Centre is seeking a Centre Service Officer with a genuine passion to deliver an exceptional service to our donors. Working collaboratively in a team, a day in the centre could see you:
- Warmly greet and welcome our donors
- Provide donors with clear instructions as to the completion of paperwork
- Prepare food and beverages for donors and replenish the self-service buffet bar
- Monitor donors post-donation and assist them in rebooking for their next donation
Our flexible self-paced paid training program has a balance between on-the-job practice, and online class schedules to ensure that you are well supported. Besides having a real passion to deliver an amazing donor experience, you’ll need to be able to:
- Occasionally lift between 9-22.7kgs
- Frequent sitting, bending and reaching to restock supplies in the kitchen
- Be flexible to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Sunday
This role is being offered on a permanent part time basis with 33 hours per fortnight. The shift pattern will be 5.5 hour shifts across 6 shifts per fortnight.
