About the role   

 

We’re currently seeking a Session Leader to join our team at the Orange Donor Centre. Reporting to the Donor Centre Manager, you’ll provide operational oversight to ensure that the end-to-end donation experience runs efficiently with no compromise on quality or safety.

 

As a Session Leader, you’ll provide direction, inspiration and support for your team to achieve common goals and foster team effectiveness, as well as managing tough issues with respect. You’ll value self-awareness and reflect on your own strengths and areas for development, making you an even stronger leader. A day in the centre could see you:

 

  • Deliver a supportive and safe experience to our amazing donors
  • Develop and coach teams
  • Physically insert and remove needles to collect donations
  • Act as the first point of contact for any complex donor assessments
  • Provide clinical oversight to team to ensure phlebotomy success
  • Show pride in upholding our high safety and quality standards

  • Some clinical experience or ready to learn blood donation through our training process
