About the role

We're currently seeking Order Fulfilment Officers (Pick Packers and Distribution Officers) to join our team at our Perth Processing Centre. As an Order Fulfilment Officer, you'll support the timely and often time-critical distribution of life-giving products to Approved Health Providers throughout Western Australia.

 

Working in a 24/7 operational environment, this role plays a vital part in ensuring patients receive the blood products they need, when they need them. It’s well suited to those who thrive in high-pressure, team-based environments, including backgrounds in emergency services, defence, logistics or other critical response settings.

 

A day in the Order Fulfilment role will see you:

 

  • Pick and pack life-giving blood and products for our Approved Health Providers with a high degree of accuracy
  • Work alongside our Customer Service team and transport partners to coordinate urgent and routine deliveries
  • Manage and replenish inventory (blood and blood products) in temperature-controlled laboratory environments
  • Adhere to strict cold-chain and quality compliance standards in a laboratory setting
  • Contribute to a safety-first, highly reliable team environment

 

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for:

 

  • Experience in fast-paced or high-pressure environments, including emergency services, defence, manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, pharmaceutical, retail, hospitality or fast-food industries 
  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain accuracy under time pressure
  • Ability to frequently lift boxes that weigh between 5 – 10kgs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend and reach to pack blood and blood products
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Technical and digital aptitude, with confidence using systems and computers
  • Undertaking routine & repetitive task with attention to detail
  • A strong team mindset, reliability and sense of accountability
  • Rotating shifts across Monday to Sunday - morning, afternoon and overnight set in advance. Flexibility required to support changing operational needs

 

Your flexibility is appreciated due to changing operational needs however rosters are issued in 10–12 week blocks to assist with planning your personal time outside of work. On-site parking available for overnight shifts. We are looking for a team member who is critical thinker & can work independently. Some one who owns right attitude to be trained to become an exceptional specialist.
