About the role

We’re currently seeking a Session Leader to join our team at the Perth CBD Donor Centre. Reporting to the Donor Centre Manager, you’ll provide operational oversight to ensure that the end-to-end donation experience runs efficiently with no compromise on quality or safety.

As a Session Leader, you’ll provide direction, inspiration and support for your team to achieve common goals and foster team effectiveness, as well as managing tough issues with respect. You’ll value self-awareness and reflect on your own strengths and areas for development, making you an even stronger leader. A day in the centre could see you:

• Deliver a supportive and safe experience to our amazing donors
• Develop and coach teams
• Physically insert and remove needles to collect donations (Clincial Training provided)
• Act as the first point of contact for any complex donor assessments
• Provide clinical oversight to team to ensure phlebotomy success
• Show pride in upholding our high safety and quality standards

• Leadership experience with the ability to coach and give meaningful performance feedback

• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a talent for building warm, genuine connections with donors

• A collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive environment

• Comfort with digital tools and technology

• Clinical experience (desirable)

• Availability Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends and public holiday work
