About the role

As one of the Donor Centre’s senior people leaders, you will work closely with the Donor Centre Manager (DCM) to foster a positive work environment where all team members can thrive. To achieve this, you will assist in identifying new talent for the donor centre, support staff development, encourage high performance and sustain a culture of recognition. In this role, you will guide and support the team with strong people leadership skills, using human-centric and empathetic management approaches. The Centre Operations Manager is responsible for supporting the DCM in leading and managing the Clinical team to achieve business requirements while providing the best experience for the donor every time.

  • Proven success in the leadership of people, including the ability to understand and relay strategic objectives, experience in coaching, development, and performance management of employees to deliver results.
  • Proven ability to take the team on a journey through an ever-transforming work environment.
  • Well-developed problem-solving and influencing skills with a willingness to challenge existing practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to take action and be accountable for actions and decisions.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office programs 
  • Availability for rotating afternoon shifts (ending up to 9pm) as needed
  • Whilst this opportunity well be predominantly Monday - Friday, availability on occassional weekends as needed is essential
