About the role
We're looking for an experienced Automation & Test Analyst to join our ICT team and help drive automation excellence across our application landscape. This is an opportunity for a technically strong test automation specialist who enjoys building scalable frameworks, solving complex testing challenges and influencing the way quality is delivered across multiple teams.
You'll work closely with Business Analysts, developers, project teams, vendors and business stakeholders to ensure quality solutions are delivered efficiently and consistently. You'll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining test automation frameworks while helping shape test automation strategy, DevOps practices and testing standards across Lifeblood. You'll also play a key role in mentoring others and driving continuous improvement across our testing capability.
What you’ll do in this role:
- Design, develop and enhance automated testing frameworks and solutions.
- Maintain and improve test automation across Lifeblood's applications and platforms.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation integrations within Azure DevOps.
- Develop automated tests for web applications, APIs and enterprise platforms including SAP and Oracle.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, vendors and business users to achieve quality outcomes.
- Manage testing activities for projects and BAU initiatives.
- Support OpenText ALM administration and test management practices.
- Author and maintain automation documentation, technical standards and knowledge resources.
- Mentor junior test automation engineers and promote testing best practices across teams.
What we’re looking for
- At least 7 years' experience in test automation.
- Strong experience designing scalable automation frameworks using tools such as Playwright, UFT and Selenium.
- Strong programming capability in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, .NET or Python.
- Experience automating enterprise platforms such as SAP and Oracle.
- Experience using AI-powered tools is highly desirable.
- Experience with DevOps practices, source control, Git and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- API testing experience using Postman, RestAssured or similar tools.
- SQL skills and experience validating data quality.
- Strong leadership, mentoring and stakeholder engagement capability.
- OpenText ALM experience is desirable.
- Understanding of GMP, GAMP, TGA or other regulated environments is desirable.
