About the role
Reporting to the Payroll & Systems Manager, this fixed-term role will lead change management activities across two key payroll-related initiatives. These projects include the transition of our Mytime time and attendance solution to the cloud, and a second strategic initiative aimed at optimising and streamlining payroll operations to support a more unified employee experience.
As part of the Employee Experience Agile Release Train (EXART), the Change and Communications Lead will develop and execute targeted change and communication strategies to ensure all stakeholders - including P&C, IT, Finance, and relevant external partners - are informed, engaged, and ready for the changes ahead.
Providing expert change management guidance, this role shapes the change agenda for both projects, aligning initiatives with business unit and organisational strategy to support Lifeblood Unlocked 2027.
Sound interesting? Here’s what we are looking for;
- 3+ years demonstrated change and communication management experience in a large or matrix organisation with diverse and disperse frontline teams, working across multiple departments / groups.
- Change and communications experience in the delivery of a complex system implementation project, preferably supporting a Payroll and/or People and Culture project specifically.
- Proven experience developing and implementing communications strategies to support systems changes impacting daily operations.
- Change management or recognised project accreditation.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills.
- Ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of Organisational Change Management (OCM) processes.
- Demonstrated experience developing effective employee engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Advanced user of office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other collaboration tools.
- Technological change and implementation experience desirable.
This is a 6-month fixed-term position and we are open to full-time, or part-time for the right person. The position is based out of our Melbourne Processing Centre however we are open to candidates from other locations within Australia.
