Lifeblood is more than just a job or a career, it’s an opportunity to be part of something that matters. As an organisation, our purpose is simple: life giving donations, for life changing outcomes. Together, we want to help you build a fulfilling career with Lifeblood.

About the role

Lifeblood is undertaking an exciting transformation to enhance our logistics operations by replacing the current Consignment Management System (CMS) and integrating transport vendors’ freight manifesting systems into a single Freight Management application (FMS). As part of this change, we are looking for a highly skilled Change and Communications Lead to guide our teams through this transition.

The Change and Communications Lead will play a pivotal role in managing the business and people impacts of the system changes, ensuring smooth adoption of the new FMS. You will be responsible for developing and executing plans for management of change that help our people understand the benefits of the new system, transition seamlessly to new ways of working, and confidently embed necessary process and procedure changes. You will also see yourself bring your experience in driving the user acceptance testing and end user training experience to the team and help uptake of the new Freight Management Systems.

This role will require regular communication with impacted teams, delivering key messages to keep the wider business informed and engaged throughout the implementation process.

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Highly experienced in leading change and communications within complex system implementation projects, particularly within logistics or transport.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing communications strategies for systems that impact daily operations.
  • Change management or relevant project management accreditation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities.
  • Solid understanding of Organisational Change Management (OCM) processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to design and implement effective employee engagement strategies.

Benefits and Wellbeing

We place our employee's well-being at the forefront and express gratitude and care for one another. As an Australian Workplace Equality Index recognised employer and one of Australia’s menopause-friendly organisations, we celebrate diversity and support all our people.

In addition to being a part of an organisation that is the heartbeat of the nation, you will have access to the following:

  • Ability to purchase additional annual leave
  • Access to salary packaging with an option to package up to $15,900 for living expenses and $2,650 for meals and entertainment
  • 14 weeks paid parental leave - no waiting period for either parent
  • Our dedicated employee assistance program - Sonder that you can access 24/7 from an app on your phone
  • Plus, many more!
