About the role  

 

We are currently seeking a Consumables Officer to join the team at our Melbourne Processing Centre. As a Consumables Officer, you will be the primary contact for our third-part logistics suppliers and to ensure the safe receiving, management, and storage of deliveries of consumable goods. The role also supports the management of AHP consumables, including shipper handling, recycling and replenishment, while ensuring all activities are carried out in line with established standard operating procedures, quality systems and safety requirements. 
 
For this role, you can bring your previous experience in warehousing, distribution or customer service to deliver service and support our internal customers.

  • Understanding and experience of warehouse and distribution processes and principles
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service oriented 
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to undertake routine, practical work and work to standard operating procedures.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to work autonomously within a geographically dispersed team.
  • Demonstrates a high level of care and understanding of the health and safety of yourself and others, working in a driveway/receiving dock environment.
  • Able to cope with the physical demands of the job.
  • Must hold a current forklift operator’s licence – or be willing to obtain
