About the role
Help bring Lifeblood’s new Auth0 Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) platform to life, and keep it running safely and smoothly across our website and mobile app.
As our IAM Specialist, you will be a hands-on contributor, responsible for designing, building, and supporting secure, scalable identity solutions across our websites and mobile applications. You will work closely with architects, security, and delivery teams to implement approved designs and translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

The role involves working extensively with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines, helping ensure consistent and repeatable deployments across multiple environments. You’ll also support authentication and authorisation integrations using OIDC and SAML.
If you enjoy solving complex identity problems and building secure, user-friendly authentication experiences at scale, this role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful, real-world systems with significant impact.

- Confident with Git branching strategies and CI/CD best practice for multi-environment delivery.
- Able to build and enhance identity solutions based on approved designs and real business needs.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js, modern Identity Providers (Auth0 or Okta), and MFA.
- Strong understanding of IAM standards and protocols including SAML, OIDC and OAuth 2.0.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for customising identity user interfaces .
- Self-driven and comfortable working independently when needed.
- Experience working in environments with security, privacy, or regulatory considerations
- Clear communicator with great collaboration skills.
