About the role

Reporting to the Design Manager, the Draftsperson plays a key role in translating user requirements and design intent into clear, compliant drawings that support pre‑construction and construction delivery.

You will produce and manage 2D and 3D drawings, imagery, signage, joinery and construction plans, review documentation prepared by external consultants, and ensure all design outputs align with Lifeblood standards, regulatory requirements and project objectives. This role works closely with Pre‑Construction Project Manager , Project managers, Business construction partners, designers, consultants and site stakeholders in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

  • Experience reviewing and coordinating consultant design documentation for accuracy and compliance
  • Solid understanding of design coordination workflows, document control, version management and drawing issue processes within multi‑disciplinary project teams
  • Strong ability in producing high‑quality 2D and 3D drawings, models and visual imagery using AutoCAD and Revit with capital works and/or pre-construction environments
  • Confidence working collaboratively with designers, project managers and external consultants
  • Exposure to healthcare or other regulated environments and an understanding of compliance requirements will be highly desirable
