About the role
The End User Technology Engineer (EUTE) plays a key role in supporting Lifeblood’s people and the vital work they do every day. This role is responsible for the design, delivery and ongoing management of Lifeblood’s End User Computing (EUC) environment, ensuring critical end user technologies are secure, reliable and available.
The EUTE designs, builds and manages Windows Managed Operating Environments, including application packaging, patching, updates and Group Policy, along with mobile device management for both BYOD and corporate-owned devices. The role also provides administration and engineering support across a range of end user technologies, including Microsoft 365, and acts as the primary administrator for Lifeblood’s virtualisation infrastructure services.
As a subject matter expert, the End User Technology Engineer provides technical leadership, advice and support to colleagues and key stakeholders, helping to build capability across the ICT team. This role participates in a rotating on-call roster to respond to critical issues and may undertake additional duties as required.

- Senior-level expertise in End User Computing within a large enterprise environment
- Strong experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM) and Intune
- Design and management of Windows SOE, including application packaging, deployment and patching
- Microsoft 365 tenant and service administration, including OneDrive, Conditional Access, Teams Phones and Teams Rooms
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and enterprise virtualisation platforms
- Solid understanding of identity, authentication, access governance and security controls
- Generalist systems engineering skills across Active Directory, Windows Server and enterprise networking
- PowerShell scripting for automation and integration
- Strong cyber security awareness and experience with enterprise reporting and administration tools
This is a permanent position full-time opportunity with a hybrid work model rotating between WFH and one of our processing centres.
