Your Opportunity
Over the next two years, you’ll rotate through three different areas within Lifeblood’s ICT division. You’ll spend 2 x 6-month periods and another year working in different teams within ICT. At the end of the 2-year program there is potential to become a permanent Lifeblood employee.
Some of the Teams and Areas within ICT Include:
• Data Engineering: Work with the latest cloud-native data and analytic technologies, build skills to support business insights and intelligence, and create machine learning and AI models.
• Application Development: Develop internal applications using JavaScript, Java, React Native, and associated cloud technologies. Engage in AI proof of concepts and projects. Help scale our citizen developer program using Power Platform by working with stakeholders within the business who require assistance with developing apps and workflows.
• Web and Mobile Development and Support: Use React Native, Drupal, Google tagging and analytics, and other critical technologies to maintain our website and mobile app within the SAFe Agile framework.
• Testing: Gain insight into software development through the lens of an Automation Tester. Learn about a well-structured testing framework, general testing standards, processes, terminology, and the types of tests to be conducted. Bring your development skills to work on automating testing tasks. Learn and use Playwright for creating testing automation.
• Emerging Technology: Get involved with test and learn experiments using some of the very newest technologies to identify new organizational opportunities or apply toward solving existing problems.
• Cyber Security: From assurance and engineering to identity and security operations, there are many interesting areas and teams within Lifeblood's Cyber Security realm where you can apply your skills and learn from our experienced Cyber SMEs
What You Will Bring to Lifeblood:
• Degrees/Masters in STEM-related areas. Minimum requirement is Bachelor level.
• Passion for Information Technology, particularly in cutting-edge areas such as AI, Machine Learning, and Cyber.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Well-developed communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify, assess, and resolve problems.
• Collaborative with an appetite to work with others to achieve a shared goal.
• Willingness to act and be accountable for your actions and decisions.
• A growth mindset, open to new ideas and changing circumstances.
• An attitude of Continuous Learning.
• MUST be a citizen of Australia or have Permanent Residency visa with the ability to work in Australia.
• Must not have worked using your university qualifications in another organization.
