About the role
We’re looking for an ICT Project Manager to help deliver technology-enabled projects that support Lifeblood’s people, donors, clinical services and corporate teams. This role sits within Information and Communication Technology and reports to the ICT Program Manager. As an ICT Project Manager, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of ICT projects or the ICT/technology stream within broader business-led projects. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors and project sponsors to lead project delivery across design, build, testing, implementation, transition and adoption, ensuring delivery is aligned to Lifeblood’s project management framework, governance requirements, and approved project scope, budget and timeframes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project delivery of ICT projects, or the ICT/technology stream of business projects.
- Lead ICT projects co-ordinating vendors, solution architects, service owners, cyber security, infrastructure, applications, data and support teams.
- Apply Lifeblood’s Project Management Framework and relevant governance processes to support successful delivery.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, reporting and delivery artefacts.
- Develop input to business cases, project plans, governance papers, status reports and implementation plans.
- Track project expenditure, forecasts, vendor estimates and budget variances in line with approved funding.
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure technical solutions are practical, supportable and aligned to business outcomes.
- Support change, communications, readiness, training and transition planning to help ensure project outcomes are adopted and sustained.
Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Experience delivering ICT projects across applications, digital platforms, infrastructure, data, cloud or integration environments.
- Strong project management capability, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, risk and issue management.
- Experience working within Agile, hybrid and/or structured project delivery methodologies, with the ability to adapt your approach to different projects.
- Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams and external vendors.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical outcomes for non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in a regulated or complex environment, ideally within healthcare or a similarly stakeholder-intensive industry.
