Working within the ICT division the ITIL Specialist position is responsible for aligning ICT Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Policies, and Processes to ITILv4 on behalf of Lifeblood. In this technical specialist role, you work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders focusing on managing the planning, build and deployment of SOPs, Policies and Processes across ICT and the delivery of ITIL v4 practices.

 

To deliver on the above this position will be accountable for creating, updating, and maintaining a set of policies, processes and practices aligned to ITILv4 that optimise planning, creation, maintenance, and coordination of our ICT Operational Activities including but not limited to Incident, Problem, Change, Request. You will analyse and document ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ processes & data flows to determine business impacts during current and proposed SOP’s, Policies and Processes. In conjunction with the above you will ensure ITSM tool processes are aligned to ITILv4 and implement / mature ITIL reporting via ServiceNow is set up and delivered automatically.

 

 

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for;

 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience ITIL Service Management at an enterprise scale, such as Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Configuration, Disaster Recovery Management and Service Design.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation certification and experience in a commercial environment is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including industry-standard project methodologies.
  • Proven experience with the use of DevOps frameworks including but not limited to CI/DC Pipelines.
  • Strong technical support experience with an understanding in Cloud Services, Networking, Windows, Unix, Application, Integration, and Database areas.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment.
  • An understanding of quality systems and the Code of Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) and Good Automated Manufacturing Practice.

 

 

This is a permanent full time role reporting to the ICT Service Delivery Manager. Please note this role will requires scheduled weekend work as well as some work to be performed out of business hours as per Patching Calendar or ad hoc as required. The role is Melbourne based with flexibility and choice to work from home for large portions of the week in a hybrid style model.
