Discover life-giving possibilities

Lifeblood is more than just a job or a career, it’s an opportunity to be part of something that matters. As an organisation, our purpose is simple: life giving donations, for life changing outcomes. Together, we want to help you build a fulfilling career with Lifeblood.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our newly formed Learning Strategy & Innovation team, where you'll work as part of an agile, collaborative team to shape the future of learning and development at Lifeblood.

As the Learning Governance & Evaluation Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring Lifeblood's learning and development practices are effective, efficient and aligned with our quality and regulatory requirements. At Lifeblood, training is an important part of our Quality Management System and helps ensure we meet our regulatory obligations. Working closely with learning, quality and business stakeholders, you'll establish practical frameworks, processes and controls that support compliance while maintaining a strong focus on learner experience, operational effectiveness and continuous improvement.

You'll use data, evidence and stakeholder feedback to assess learning quality and effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and provide insights that guide decision-making.

Success in this role will come from your ability to achieve regulatory and quality requirements through practical delivery realities. You'll build trusted relationships, translate complex requirements into simple and usable approaches, and help ensure governance processes remain fit for purpose—supporting high-quality products and services through effective learning.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how learning quality and evaluation are approached across Lifeblood.

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Experience designing and implementing governance, quality assurance or evaluation approaches within learning environments
  • Experience developing practical processes, frameworks or procedures that support both compliance and effective delivery
  • Experience analysing data and translating insights into practical recommendations.
  • Understanding of learning quality, needs analysis, assessment and evaluation principles and frameworks
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Experience working in regulated or high‑assurance environments.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
  • Experience working as part of an agile team
