Discover life-giving possibilities

Lifeblood is more than just a job or a career, it’s an opportunity to be part of something that matters. As an organisation, our purpose is simple: to give life. Together, we want to help you build a fulfilling career with Lifeblood.

About the role

At Lifeblood, every logistics decision matters. How we design, source and deliver our supply chain directly affects clinicians, patients and communities across Australia. We’re looking for a Logistics Solutions Project Manager to join our Integrated Services team and lead complex, high‑impact logistics initiatives that strengthen how we package, protect and deliver our life‑giving products.

This is a hands‑on project role with a strong focus on designing and implementing practical logistics solutions across our national network.

In joining you will lead our Integrated Packaging Solutions (IPS) project, sourcing and implementing insulated packaging solutions for blood and blood products. This work sits at the intersection of cold chain integrity, regulatory compliance, supplier capability and operational usability, and will shape how Lifeblood operates for years to come.

Beyond IPS, you’ll manage a diverse portfolio of logistics projects, such as:

  • Warehouse and layout design and optimisation initiatives
  • Logistics software implementations
  • Transport network optimisation and implementation
  • Fulfilment and distribution pathway improvements
  • Supplier sourcing, contracting and performance management from initiation to delivery

You’ll work closely with Manufacturing & Logistics teams, Quality and Regulatory stakeholders, ICT, procurement, and external partners bringing people together to deliver outcomes that are safe, scalable and fit for purpose.

Sound interesting? Here's what we are looking for;

We’re looking for someone with broad domestic logistics experience who enjoys solving complex problems and translating strategy into operational reality. You don’t need sector experience however you do need to be comfortable operating in regulated, high‑reliability environments.

You will  have:

  • Proven experience leading end‑to‑end logistics projects (design through to implementation)
  • Strong exposure to warehousing, transport networks and logistics systems
  • Experience with WMS or other logistics software implementations
  • Confidence managing suppliers and external partners
  • A collaborative, pragmatic style to be able to influence without authority
  • The ability to balance detail with the bigger picture

Benefits and wellbeing

We place our employee's well-being at the forefront and express gratitude and care for one another. As an Australian Workplace Equality Index recognised employer and one of Australia’s menopause-friendly organisations, we celebrate diversity and support all our people.

In addition to being a part of an organisation that is the heartbeat of the Nation, you will have access to the following:

    • Ability to purchase additional annual leave
    • Access to salary packaging with an option to package up to $15,900 for living expenses and $2,650 for meals and entertainment
    • 14 weeks paid parental leave - no waiting period for either parent
    • Our dedicated employee assistance program - Sonder that you can access 24/7 from an app on your phone
