About the role
We are seeking a Milk Technician to join our Milk Program, supporting the safe and reliable supply of donor milk to those who need it most.
As a Milk Technician, you will play a key role in a regulated manufacturing environment, supporting safe, timely, and compliant operations within the Milk Program. Working within a multidisciplinary team and reporting to the Milk Production Supervisor, you will ensure all activities meet strict quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
A day in the role will look like:
- Receiving, handling, and processing donor milk in line with approved procedures
- Applying Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and food safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant production environment
- Identify and escalate risks or deviations
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Support stock management and ensure FIFO principles are followed
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders

- Experience or knowledge in food safety, manufacturing, or regulated environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Qualification in Food Science/Food Safety & understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is desirable.
- Flexibility to work afternoon shifts
