About the role  

An exciting opportunity to join an amazing team who specialise in recruiting eligible breastfeeding mums who donate their excess breastmilk to feed the premature babies across Australia!

We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse with a solid understanding of supporting breastfeeding women. This unique role involves engaging directly with our breastmilk donors, both in their homes and in hospital settings, so a current driver’s licence is essential.

 

Here's what we are looking for:

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and Annual License Certificate (with no restrictions)

  • Demonstrated lactation expertise

  • Phlebotomy skills – experience with blood collection

  • Current, unrestricted driver’s licence

  • Ability to conduct clinical assessments and apply clinical knowledge in practice

  • Proven ability to provide exceptional service

  • Strong ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

  • Understanding of breastmilk supply and demand issues

 

Desirable Experience:

  • Knowledge or experience working with neonatal populations

  • Experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) or food regulatory environment

  • Flexibility to provide support to the Milk Collection Manager role when required

 

This is a part time role with fixed working days Wednesday, Thursday & Friday each week.
