About the role
We’re seeking a National Manager, Building Services Management to lead and oversee the delivery of building services across our national network. This role has responsibility for leading the Building Management team and providing direction to Building Services Managers across four Processing Centres and five Customer Service Distribution Centres nationwide. You will also lead the strategic direction for our processing centres, planning future infrastructure capacity needs to support organisational growth
You’ll provide operational leadership to ensure our facilities, plant, and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and Good Manufacturing Practices. The role plays a key part in standardising work practices, managing budgets, overseeing national initiatives. and developing the capability of the national team to support the business,
With accountability for building services projects and capital upgrades, you’ll act as a trusted advisor on complex building and engineering matters and serve as a key liaison between Manufacturing & Logistics and Construction/Facilities Management teams. Your decisions will directly support the timely and safe delivery of blood and blood products within a strong service excellence culture.

- Extensive experience managing technical and complex facilities within a cGMP or similarly regulated environment
- Proven leadership experience managing large, geographically dispersed teams
- Relevant qualifications and experience in Engineering or Critical Facilities Management
- Strong experience in budget management, forecasting, and cost centre accountability
- Demonstrated ability to lead critical infrastructure projects, upgrades, and national change initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including contractor and internal partner engagement
- Working understanding of the Code of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and the Australian Standard 3864 Medical refrigeration equipment
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and awareness of industry best practice
