About the role

 

We’re currently seeking an Order Fulfilment Supervisor to join our team at our Melbourne Processing Centre. The Order Fulfilment Supervisor will lead the Order Fulfilment team in fulfilling customer orders and ensuring the timely distribution of life-giving blood and other products to Approved Health Providers.

 

In this exciting and fast- paced role, while working with regional manufacturing environment you will continually look for ways to optimise work processes, actively learn and adapt your approach to achieve great outcomes. You will act with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm and be able to relate openly and comfortably with everyone. You will value interpersonal savvy and self-awareness and reflect on your own strengths and areas for development, making you a valued contributor.

 

A day in the role will see you:

 

  • Lead and provide direction to the Order Fulfilment team, using human-centric and empathetic management approaches
  • Identify new talent for the Order Fulfilment team
  • Support training and staff development
  • Effectively manage the team’s resources and workflow
  • Develop and manage rosters, and deliver work schedules
  • Undertake daily supply planning with the Regional Fulfilment Manager
  • Identify daily inventory requirements and address inventory gaps
  • Supervise stock management

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coach warehouse or distribution teams
  • Experience in the coaching, development and performance management of employees to deliver results
  • Ability to understand and relay strategic objectives and drive operational performance against key performance indicators
  • Operational knowledge and experience of customer service, and warehouse and distribution processes and principles
  • Operational experience in a regulated GMP environment desirable
  • Passionate about delivering great customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Technical and digital aptitude with a high attention to detail  

 

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, working a rotating team roster across Monday to Friday, between 5:30am to 1:30pm (AM shift) and 1:30pm to 9:30pm (PM shift). Due to the nature of the role, weekend and night shift work (22:00–06:00) may be required based on operational needs; however, this is expected to be very rare at this stage.
