About the role   

 

Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Planning and Performance this newly created role will collaborate with stakeholders to design and document improvements to the framework that supports successful delivery of strategic projects across the organisation.  

 

This will involve working closely with the Portfolio Management Office and Lean Portfolio Management teams to co-design a framework that links delivery methodologies (agile, waterfall and hybrid) and provides a scalable, fit for purpose standard for planning and delivery.  

 

The improvements to the framework will span all stages of project delivery, from concept to benefit realisation and link with the portfolio and change management frameworks. The PMF Improvement Lead will also partner with these teams to ensure that the framework components are aligned to the new Portfolio Project Management (PPM) system which is being enabled concurrently. 

 

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for:  

  • Extensive experience using co-design principles to develop and implement project management methodologies and frameworks 

  • Demonstrated experience engaging and partnering with multiple stakeholders enterprise wide 

  • Proven ability to lead innovative engagement activities with stakeholders across multiple areas of the business  

  • Excellent understanding of portfolio and project management best practice, and demonstrated experience in aligning multiple delivery methodologies to ensure business value  

  • Sound commercial acumen and understanding of change management principles 

  • Strong presentation and workshop facilitation skills   

  • Ability to start at short notice (i.e. max 2 week notice period) will be highly advantageous
