About the role  

 

As Production Manager, you’ll take the lead at our Melbourne operation—one of our largest sites in the network, responsible for processing approximately 40% of Australia’s blood and blood products. This is more than a production role; it’s a chance to shape the future of biomedical manufacturing and the heart of our innovation hub.

 

You’ll oversee the end-to-end production function, ensuring the efficient, sufficient, and timely supply of safe blood products, while championing a culture of service excellence. With a strong focus on planning and operational execution, you’ll bring a track record for driving performance, innovation, and impact.

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for: 

  • Proven experience managing production and/or laboratory testing in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • In-depth leadership experience managing large technical and scientific teams
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies that consistently meet production and testing schedules
  • A strong compliance mindset with experience reviewing and upholding operating standards in line with regulatory requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Biomedical Science, Science, or Engineering (Mechatronics, Production, or Chemical)
  • A background in change management with a focus on cultural and/or operational transformation
