About the role
The purpose of the Quality Project Business Advisor role is to provide quality and regulatory advice in complex projects or national change initiatives to support the organisation in meeting its obligations under the national quality management system. In particular, the role utilises specialised knowledge in quality principles and risk management to recommend the appropriate validation strategy, testing principles and improvement opportunities to new processes/systems, with the aim of delivering good business outcomes while remaining compliant with regulatory expectations.

• Experience as a subject matter expert in various regulatory frameworks and have extensive experience in the application of quality management principles in projects or large scale/complex change initiatives within a highly regulated environment.
• An IT background or a keen interest in emerging technology would be highly advantageous.
• Comprehensive knowledge, understanding and application of risk management and continuous improvement principles.
• Significant breadth of knowledge and understanding of the Australian Code of Good Manufacturing Practice
• In depth understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies
• Proven ability to develop, implement and utilize problem solving tools (e.g., root cause analysis, failure mode and effects analysis, process mapping, etc.).
• Proven ability to apply regulatory and related principles in the workplace
• Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results through problem solving, decision making, prioritisation, organisation and time management
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
