About the role

Australian Red Cross Lifeblood plays a critical role in supporting the health of Australians every day. Behind every donation is a person, and thoughtful, well‑crafted design helps us connect with our donors, recipients, and communities across the country.

We’re looking for a Mid-Senior Designer to join our Creative Services team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You’ll work as part of a collaborative, purpose‑driven in‑house team, helping bring national campaigns to life across digital, print and physical environments.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing digital and print assets including campaigns, EDMs, social content, presentations, signage and printed materials
  • Supporting end‑to‑end design delivery from brief to final, production‑ready artwork
  • Applying and upholding Lifeblood’s brand guidelines, ensuring consistency, care and clarity across every touchpoint
  • Artworking and adapting creative for multiple formats and channels
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver clear, effective design solutions
  • Managing multiple tasks and deadlines with strong attention to detail

 

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in a design team (inhouse or studio/agency)
  • Strong experience producing artwork for digital and print executions
  • Strong Adobe Creative Cloud skills (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects)
  • Confidence working in the Microsoft Suite
  • A strong eye for typography, layout and visual hierarchy
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively

Experience with Adobe Express or Figma is desirable but not essential.
