About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Finance Officer who will help keep our financial operations running seamlessly. You’ll be supporting and mentoring your other team members, solving problems and communicating effectively with our stakeholders, and ensuring accuracy in everything we do.
This role is critical to ensuring the uninterrupted flow of goods and services across Lifeblood. You’ll manage workflow, support team members and resolve issues to keep everything moving efficiently and compliantly.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day workflow and scheduling across the Finance team

Perform daily bank reconciliations and support month-end activities

Lead Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing and payment allocation

Support general ledger reconciliations, accruals and financial reporting tasks

Investigate and resolve account queries and escalations

Oversee shared mailboxes and ensure timely responses to requests

Support debt collection and customer account management

Deliver training and guidance to Finance Officers and new team members

Step in to support front-line finance activities when needed

Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure smooth financial

Strong experience across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and reconciliations (predominately Accounts Receivable)

Familiarity with Oracle or similar financial systems

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Solid understanding of GST and financial transaction processes

Confident communication and strong internal and external stakeholder engagement and management skills
-
Ability to prioritise, problem-solve and work in a fast-paced environment
-
Experience supporting or mentoring team members
