About the role  

 

At Lifeblood, we’ve built a powerful brand strategy and platform designed to connect deeply with Australians, spark advocacy, and inspire a movement of donors. Now, we’re looking for a Senior Brand Strategy & Program Manager to continue its momentum, someone who can turn strategy into signature experiences, partnerships, and content to build long term brand equity, driving business and brand growth outcomes.

 

As our Senior Brand Strategy & Program Manager, you’ll lead the development of an annual plan anchored in our newly formed brand platform, including our value propositions, brand essence, pillars, and personality traits. You’ll lead a team of professionals across partnerships, social and content, experience, and governance to align activity with the Masterbrand strategy and ensure every initiative is consistent and impactful. You will champion the brand at every opportunity. You’re a brand storyteller who can influence at all levels of the organisation and inspire a brand-led culture.

 

What you’ll do:

 

  • Brand health & performance: Oversee brand tracking and translate insights into initiatives that elevate impact and reputation.
  • Annual brand plan: Develop a brand plan and roadmap that translates strategy into actionable programs across your designated remit.
  • Cross-channel activation: Drive a coordinated program of work across partnerships, social, content, experience, and brand governance, working closely with channel leads who deliver the work.
  • Team leadership & influence: Lead a passionate team of channel owners with clarity, vision, and strategic alignment. You’ll work closely with teams across Marketing, the broader business and external partners.
  • Brand champion: You’ll be able to confidently articulate the power, influence, and value of a brand across the organisation. Through storytelling, education, and leadership, you’ll build internal understanding and advocacy, ensuring brand is not just seen as a function, but embraced as a driver of reputation, connection, and growth.

  • Visionary thinking and a deep understanding of how to build, grow, and protect brand value in a complex, evolving landscape.
  • Proven leadership in brand management, ideally within large organisation with at least 10 years’ experience.
  • Excellent people leadership skills and recognised as an expert in brand building, with an understanding of social channels, partnerships and activations.
  • Exceptional ability to align brand strategy with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Strong stakeholder management and storytelling skills, you influence with clarity and purpose, leading cross-functional collaboration that achieve excellent outcomes.
  • A curious mind and critical thinker who thrives on problem-solving and is passionate about cultivating a brand-led culture.
  • A passion for building meaningful connections between brand and audience with experience in managing and assessing reputational brand risks.
