Discover life-giving possibilities

Lifeblood is more than just a job or a career, it’s an opportunity to be part of something that matters. As an organisation, our purpose is simple: to give life. Together, we want to help you build a fulfilling career with Lifeblood.

About the role

At Lifeblood, we’re all about helping people and saving lives, and behind every donation is a team making smart, data driven decisions that help us do it better. That’s where you come in.

As our Senior Specialist, Data Analytics & Reporting, you’ll shape how we understand and use our people data. You’ll help us move toward self-service analytics, empowering leaders and teams with the right insights at the right time. You’ll make sure our data is accurate, consistent and trusted across systems like SAP SuccessFactors, Humanforce (myTime) and Chris21.

This is a hands on, strategic role where you’ll design and evolve reporting tools and dashboards that turn data into action. You’ll think beyond the numbers, exploring how emerging technologies, AI assisted analytics and platforms like Databricks can take our reporting to the next level.

You’ll partner closely with People & Culture, Finance, and Operations to deliver insights that support performance, compliance and workforce planning. And you’ll be a go to expert for data queries, helping lift data literacy across the business while championing a culture of curiosity, continuous improvement and innovation.

If you’re passionate about using data to make a real impact, and you want your work contribute to something bigger, we’d love to hear from you.

Sound interesting? Here’s what we are looking for;

  • Deep expertise in data analytics and reporting tools, including SQL, Power BI, Power Query and Excel.
  • Confident working with XML templates and comfortable reading and interpreting VBA code.
  • Strong grasp of data integration, governance and quality control.
  • Over five years’ experience in payroll and time & attendance within large, complex organisations.
  • Skilled in SAP SuccessFactors HRIS.
  • Proven ability to turn HR, payroll and time & attendance data into meaningful insights and actions.
  • Hands-on experience with system configuration, data validation and translating award or enterprise agreement changes into reporting outcomes.
  • Analytical, detail focused and able to juggle competing priorities with ease.
  • Highly organised, with strong documentation and process design skills.
  • Great communicator and collaborator, able to make complex information clear and accessible.
  • Self-driven and proactive, exercising sound judgement in sensitive or uncertain situations.
  • Committed to data privacy, confidentiality and compliance at every step.
  • Always looking for ways to improve, with a strong focus on quality, safety and continuous learning.

This is a permanent position rotating between WFH and one of our Processing Centres. We have a preference for Melbourne based candidates but would be open to other locations for the right person. Lifeblood is proud to accommodate flexible working and we are open to conversations around what this means to you.
