About the role

 

We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Lead to take ownership of how we show up on social media channels; leading content planning, execution and performance to drive real impact. You’ll lead the development and delivery of social media content that builds brand trust, inspires action and grows our donor community. This is your chance to shape how Lifeblood connects with millions of Australians.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the creation and delivery of a rolling social media content calendar
  • Create engaging written and video content across multiple platforms
  • Own performance reporting, insights and continuous optimisation
  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies to source and produce content
  • Support national and local campaigns across social channels
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation to bring stories to life
  • Balance creativity with data to drive measurable outcomes (growth, retention, acquisition)

 

Sound interesting? Here’s what we’re looking for: 

  • Proven experience (2-3 years) owning social media content development and delivery across major platforms for a large organisation – we’re looking for more than social media coordination
  • Strong storytelling capability with the ability to tailor content to different audiences
  • Experience analysing performance data and using insights to improve engagement outcomes
  • Confidence creating content (copy + basic video production)
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Experience with tools such as Brandwatch, Hootsuite or Google Analytics are desirable
