Reporting to the National Volunteer Manager, you'll play a key role in the recruitment, promotion, training, administration, relationship with and support of volunteers in the delivery of our volunteer program and strategy.
 

A day in the role of a Volunteer Coordinator, will see you:

  • Coordinate general volunteer enquiries received (phone, email/online, mail)
  • Screen, interview, and coordinate police checks for volunteers
  • Support the implementation of Lifeblood volunteer strategy
  • Working collaboratively with the National Volunteer Manager to analyse volunteer needs and ensure volunteer skill sets align with operational needs
  • Coordinate with Donor Centre teams that 100% of volunteers undertake an annual review process
  • Provide training to relevant Lifeblood teams supporting the volunteer program
  • Provide ongoing support to our wonderful Volunteers

  • A passion for great customer service
  • Ability to work well independently, while also developing strong relationships with key stakeholders 
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop trust and maintain effective working relationships
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Office) 
  • Experience with recruiting, coordinating and managing Vounteers (desirable)
  • Experience with Better Impact software (desirable) 

 

 

This is a permanent, part time opportunity working 3 days a week from home and from one of our Processing Centres.
