Cyber Identity Engineer

• Play a key role in strengthening Lifeblood's cyber resilience and identity security capabilities 

• Lead the evolution of identity and access management platforms including SailPoint and Microsoft Entra ID 

• Join a growing Identity team where you'll help shape strategy, uplift capabilities and influence technical decisions across the enterprise 

• Fixed Term Opportunity until 30 June 2027, Salary between $150-165k base plus superannuation, Hybrid working  

About the role  

At Lifeblood, cyber security is critical to protecting our people, systems and services. 

We're looking for an experienced Identity Engineer to join our Cyber Security team and help drive the maturity of our Identity and Access Management (IDAM) capabilities. This is an opportunity to join a growing team and play a pivotal role in both the day-to-day operation and future direction of Lifeblood's identity platforms. You'll be responsible for supporting and improving our identity platforms, helping ensure the right people have the right access at the right time. Working closely with Cyber Security, Architecture, ICT, project teams and business stakeholders, you'll help deliver secure, scalable and automated identity solutions that support current and future business needs. 

As one of the senior technical members of a newly established team, you'll have genuine influence over tooling, platform decisions, ways of working and future capability uplift. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Manage and enhance Lifeblood's Identity and Access Management platforms and integrations 

• Administer, configure and improve platforms such as SailPoint IdentityNow and Microsoft Entra ID 

• Support cyber security initiatives, audits, remediation activities and project delivery 

• Develop and automate identity lifecycle management, provisioning and access workflows 

• Design and implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) models 

• Support user access reviews, certification campaigns and governance activities in Sailpoint 

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable identity solutions 

• Partner with Cyber Security, Architecture, Infrastructure and DevOps teams to improve identity capabilities 

• Contribute to the identity roadmap, continuous improvement initiatives and platform uplift activities

• Strong experience working in Identity and Access Management (IAM) environments 

• Hands-on experience with platforms such as: 

• SailPoint 

• Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) 

• Active Directory 

• Other Identity Tooling: Okta, Auth0, Ping Identity or ForgeRock 

• ServiceNow (highly regarded) 

• Experience implementing and supporting IAM controls including: 

• Workforce IAM 

• Privileged Access Management (PAM) 

• Customer IAM (CIAM) 

• Non-Human Identity (NHI) management 

• Experience working within Agile or SAFe delivery environments 

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills 

• Experience translating business requirements into technical identity solutions 

• Knowledge of identity protocols, standards and security best practices
